Keyboard Case for Taja & Ben
Taja & Ben of L’Rain requested a custom keyboard stand to house both a synthesizer and pedals and cabling on the lower level.

Custom Knobs by Chris Prinz
Several years ago, artist Chris Prinz and I designed front panel and knobs (based on his experiments with face milling round rod on a Bridgeport milling machine) for the two pairs of Neve style preamp cards I had built.

Passive Ribbon Controller
Ben Katz requested a passive ribbon controller for use with his Prophet 6 synthesizer. I have been interested in Velostat for some time and figured it would an interesting challenge.

Dual AB Box
The artist Jachary requested a pedal to allow him to run both a guitar and a bass through the same pedal board, but send the bass to a bass amp, and a guitar to a guitar amp.

Stereo Synth DI
I needed a clean way to track the extremely high stereo outputs of the vintage synths in the studio like the Juno 60. I came into a few used Jensen JT-DB transformers that are perfect step down transformers for the job.

Gabe Goodman’s Grand Caravan
Gabe Goodman’s newest release “Grand Caravan” is out today! Producing, drumming, and mixing this one was a lot of fun.

Ludwig Bearing Recut
Recutting of the studio’s main drum kit’s high tom, whose bearings were poorly cut at the factory back in 1964.

Neumann KM86s
A look inside my favorite pair of microphones in the studio - maintenance and matching info.

QNA Sessions at Electric Garden
QNA’s ‘Get Money’ was recorded primarily at Electric Garden in Brooklyn.

Studio Build
An ongoing documentation/photo dump of acoustical treatments and improvements to my personal production space in Brooklyn that has been dubbed “The Woodshop”.
