Gabe Goodman’s Grand Caravan

Gabe Goodman’s newest release “Grand Caravan” is out today. Producing, drumming, and mixing this one was a lot of fun. To push the 70’s drum sound, I used a lot of close-miked drum sound for the toms and snare, but allowed the overheads to give a full picture of the kit as well. The tom fills were performed with the Pro Mark Tubz which sound hilarious, the main groove was performed with "broomsticks”.
